[tlbuild] Some weird problems in test cases

Hi,

I'm compiling the TL sources on a remote machine running Mac OS X 10.6
(with a special user that otherwise has no shell) and I experience
some weird failures in the test cases. (I'm sorry, but I don't know
how to [explain how to] replicate the error.)

Below are the contents of test-suite.log (with skipped tests removed)
